Why can't we all just get along. That's why I'm writing such a serious song. We've gotta learn to love our fellow man. This shouldn't take centuries to understand. Black white brown yellow and red. If we don't get it right soon we'll all be dead. We've gotta change our ways and make a new plan. We gotta feel compassion and take a stand. With all this talk the point we're missing we should all shut up and take a moment and listen to the wings of change that's flowing through the air. If we're not careful soon it won't be there. Listen to the planet that we call earth. The one that's given us a brand new birth. But not for long if we stay at this pace. There'll be a once upon a time for the human race.
We gotta make a stand my brother. We gotta be at peace with one another. Stop living in the past and let's move on. We'll all be dead before too long. We gotta make a stand.
Stop judging people you don't even know. You're no better than me and that's for sure. To the people in the palaces way on high, every dog has it's day by and by.
